About Brave Global

OUR MISSION

“The mission of Brave Global is to be a catalyst in the prevention of exploitation and trafficking of girls, through local communities (Brave chapters) using our 3 pillars strategy.”

OUR Vision

Brave Global is a catalytic movement focused on educating and empowering girls from vulnerable backgrounds—reaching them before they become victims of sexual exploitation and trafficking. We invite individuals and communities to partner with Brave to connect with the most at-risk youth in their local areas, sending a clear message: we see you, we believe in you, and we are with you. We believe that when local communities are mobilized, they become a powerful force capable of putting a permanent end to the exploitation of girls.

The BRAVE Pillars

You can count on us.

The
BRAVE
Distinctives

BRAVE intentionally reaches vulnerable girls.

BRAVE sees empowerment as the GOAL. We want girls to be strong and free.

BRAVE celebrates diversity.

BRAVE connects the community and local organizations to work together.

BRAVE believes girls are the solution to a flourishing future.

“Every girl has a future and a hope that is bright with possibilities. We are going to be brave enough to tell them and move forward together to journey to fight for their freedom and their future. They aren’t the problem - they are the solution.”

Our History

Brave Global was launched in California in 2014 and quickly became a favorite annual point of contact for vulnerable youth with positive and uplifting messages from speakers, artists, dancers, and community leaders. Brave has been a tremendous success now having 21 chapters in the U.S. and an ever-expanding global presence now in 5 other countries.

In the fall of 2018, Brave Global was launched in Canada!  Since this time Brave Global continues to expand its impact though multiple local Brave Chapters. Brave Global has charitable status in the US and Canada and continues to build strategic alliances with  Counter Human Trafficking organizations, social services, school boards, law enforcement, and other community organizations like The Salvation Army, to help put an end to sex trafficking before it begins.

There are great organizations that assist women to exit sexual exploitation and we applaud them. Our calling is to educate and empower girls prior to the exploitation.

We believe that the mobilization of local communities can put a permanent end to the exploitation of vulnerable youth everywhere. The Brave Global Organizations are a global preventative strategy to empower vulnerable youth to help stop exploitation and trafficking.
