BRAVE Training Strategy

Getting trained in the Brave Global strategy is essential for anyone serious about preventing trafficking and exploitation of vulnerable girls in their local community. Brave Global isn’t just a program—it’s a movement designed to reach girls before predators do. Its strategy equips churches, nonprofits, and community leaders to engage girls who are often overlooked: those in foster care, the juvenile justice system, and under-resourced neighborhoods. These girls may not self-identify as at-risk, but statistically, they are among the most vulnerable to grooming and exploitation.

By using a strengths-based, empowerment-focused approach, Brave offers tools to connect, inspire, and walk alongside girls in transformative ways.

The training teaches leaders how to create safe spaces, build trust with consistency, and communicate a vision of worth, identity, and purpose. It’s not about swooping in as saviors—it’s about cultivating presence, listening, and offering opportunities for girls to discover their voice and strength. Brave provides ready-to-use events, curriculum, and mentorship tools that can be contextualized to any setting, whether rural, urban, or suburban.

Most importantly, the Brave strategy is trauma-informed and community-driven. Training ensures that leaders understand the systemic factors contributing to vulnerability—like poverty, racism, family instability, and gender inequity—and how to respond with both compassion and skill. When a community gets trained together, it creates a net of support that doesn’t wait until a girl is trafficked to act. It meets her where she is, affirms who she is, and champions who she is becoming.

Getting trained is not just an investment in girls—it’s an investment in building a safer, stronger future for everyone.
